By purchasing from That Auto Parts Warehouse, you agree to the following Terms of Service and Refund Policy. These terms apply to all purchases made online and in-store.
Handling & Dispatch Timeframes
Processing Time
All orders are subject to a 2–3 business day handling time from the date of purchase. This allows for stock allocation, internal transfers, quality checks, and dispatch preparation.
Express Shipping
Express shipping refers to the courier delivery timeframe from the date of dispatch, not from the date the order was placed.
Express postage does not bypass handling times.
Weekends & Public Holidays
Orders placed on weekends or public holidays may experience extended processing times. Business days exclude weekends and public holidays.
Dispatch timeframes are not guaranteed until the item has physically left our warehouse.
Fitment Responsibility
We are always happy to help confirm compatibility before you order.
If you are unsure whether a part suits your vehicle, please contact us prior to purchasing and provide either:
• VIN (Vehicle Identification Number)
• Australian registration number
We will confirm correct fitment based on the details provided.
If a customer chooses not to confirm fitment prior to purchase, responsibility for compatibility remains with the purchaser.
Incorrect Orders
Orders placed incorrectly due to customer error — including failure to confirm fitment — may not be eligible for return, refund, or exchange.
We strongly encourage customers to contact us before ordering if there is any uncertainty.
Missing Items, Damaged Goods & Delivery Issues
Any shortages, damage, or delivery issues must be reported within 24 hours of tracking showing “Delivered.”
Photo evidence is required and must clearly show:
• Outer packaging
• Inner packaging
• The damaged item
• Courier label
Claims lodged outside this timeframe may not be accepted.
Returns & Refund Policy
7-Day Returns (No Handling Fee)
Returns are accepted within 7 days of purchase provided the item is:
• Unused
• Unfitted
• Unopened
• In original packaging
This applies to change-of-mind purchases or orders placed in error.
If a customer no longer wants the item or ordered incorrectly, return freight is the customer’s responsibility. The customer must arrange and pay for return shipping.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
The item remains the customer’s responsibility until it is received and inspected by That Auto Parts Warehouse.
No restocking fee applies within the 7-day window when all return conditions are met.
7–20 Day Returns
Returns requested between 7 and 20 days from purchase may incur a 20% restocking and handling fee.
Items must remain unused, unopened, and in original packaging.
Return freight is the customer’s responsibility.
Returns Over 20 Days
Returns are not accepted after 20 days from purchase unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
Goods Under $10 (Excl. GST)
Items under $10.00 excluding GST are final sale and not eligible for refund or credit unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return unless deemed faulty under Australian Consumer Law:
• Electrical components (including sensors, modules, control units, switches, electronic parts)
• Installed or fitted parts
• Used or grease-marked items
• Special order, overseas, Germany-sourced or customer-specific parts
• Non-stock or indent items
Radiators must be returned with all original internal packaging. Missing packaging may result in refusal of credit.
All returned items are subject to inspection prior to approval.
Freight & Shipping
• Return freight is the buyer’s responsibility unless the error is confirmed to be ours.
• Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
• Freight will only be covered where the fault has been confirmed as our error.
Proof of Purchase
All returns must include:
• Original invoice, or
• Invoice number and purchase date
Returns without valid documentation may be rejected.
Australian Consumer Law (ACL)
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Under the ACL:
• You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure.
• You are entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Our change-of-mind return policy operates in addition to your rights under the ACL.
Acceptance of Terms
By completing checkout, you confirm that you:
• Have read and understood these terms
• Accept the stated handling timeframes
• Understand express shipping applies from dispatch only
• Accept fitment responsibility unless confirmed by us in writing
• Agree to the return windows and applicable fees
